Sean practices in the areas of family law, wills and estates, personal injury and civil litigation. Sean brings a strong results-oriented background to our firm. Sean understands that having legal issues impacts every aspect of a person’s life during what is often the most challenging time. Sean is a determined and experienced lawyer who is committed to achieving the best possible result.
Sean was born and raised in the Lower Mainland. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts and his Bachelor of Laws he was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 2010 where he worked in some of the most prestigious firms in the country.
After returning to British Columbia, Sean completed his articles with a prominent family lawyer and became an associate with the firm after his call and admission to the bar.
Before opening Dinsley Litigation, Sean also worked at a successful boutique law firm in New Westminster.
Yasamin is dedicated to guiding her clients through the complexities of legal matters and disputes that often arise in family life, commercial contracts, and the passing of a loved one and the administration of an estate.
Her experience proves to be an invaluable asset; however, Yasamin firmly believes that a personalized approach is essential for optimal outcomes. She focuses on resolving disputes with a practical and business-oriented mindset, ensuring that her clients achieve the best possible results in the most cost-effective manner.
Whether she is explaining a marriage agreement or representing clients in court, Yasamin is committed to clear communication at every step. She takes the time to help her clients understand their options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their futures.
Immigrating to Canada as a young girl, Yasamin has called Vancouver home ever since. She graduated at the top of her class from the TRU Faculty of Law. She completed her articles with a leading national firm, followed by her call and admission to the British Columbia bar.
When she’s not advocating for her clients, Yasamin enjoys cheering for the Vancouver Whitecaps, exploring new travel destinations, and spending quality time with her young family and friends.
Patricia is thrilled to be part of the Dinsley Litigation team, and is honoured to be practising on the traditional territories of the Katzie (q̓ic̓əy̓) and Kwantlen (qʼʷa:n̓ƛʼən̓) First Nations.
Patricia has a strong background in social justice and draws on her diverse experience to provide nuanced and comprehensive service to clients. She believes in the importance of drawing on multiple perspectives when engaging with the law, and is dedicated to providing high-quality, culturally-informed legal services tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. She understands the challenges in navigating the legal system, and is committed to client-centred and trauma-informed practice.
Patricia completed her undergraduate studies at Simon Fraser University, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences (with Distinction), majoring in Criminology, with certificates in Legal Studies, French, and Spanish. She obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law, where she gained practical experience through her clinical work at the Business Law Clinic and the Environmental Law Centre, a co-op placement at an Aboriginal law firm, and as a research assistant at an Aboriginal law firm.
She completed her articles at a boutique local government law firm, and was called to the BC Bar in 2022. After her call, she worked at a legal non-profit organization, where she promoted access to justice by helping British Columbians access high-quality, affordable or pro bono legal services in a wide range of practice areas.
Outside of the office, you can find Patricia at the gym, walking her dog, baking, or spending time with family and friends. She loves to travel, learn new languages, and discover new foods, and is a firm believer that if it doesn’t hurt, it’s not spicy enough.
